About Me

Having worked for many years in a business environment, I changed direction in my early 30s and, having completed a Psychology degree, undertook a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regent’s University in London.

My Masters covered a number of disciplines, such as psychoanalysis, humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural therapies and I then embarked on a more specialist course in Existential Psychotherapy, which I feel has not only influenced the way I work with clients but also my own personal way of being. In addition, I am also a qualified Integrative Supervisor.

Aside from private practice, I have worked as a Psychotherapist/Supervisor within NHS, for Brunel University Counselling Service, Michael Sobell Hospice and Need To Talk, a local low-cost counselling agency, as well as held voluntary positions as a Samaritan and within the Prince’s Trust. I am currently a volunteer Supervisor for Bereavement Care, a charity focussing on bereavement listening/counselling and also volunteer with Pets As Therapy, working with children in schools with my young golden retriever dog.
